friends who have had difficulties screwing on their heads, it is mostly a case of disattachment. Or something or other. They are so obssessed with their friends, music, clothing, parties...whatever, that they don't see parents as an authority but as a stumbling block.

What I'm trying to say is that Parents might know what is best for us but they always teach us the wrong thing.

What do you mean parents mean well to us? Could you elaborate or give examples?

You may be right but they may not know what is best for us. Thus, we will be more rebellious.

Parents know what is best for us but they will teach teenagers the wrong thing with their actions. Especially their words. They may teach teenagers not to curse but they curse infront of the teenagers.

No, they should not. As parents will not be role models for us and may give us the wrong example or teach us the wrong thing. For example, parents may teach you no to smoke but then they may be a smoker themselves or they can teach you not to drink alcohol but they may be a drinker themselves.
